Does anybody know where the ignitions switch Module is? and what it looks like? I have a 1970 pontiac catalina with a 455 motor.

Doesnt sound right, module is a computer age term What exactly are the details of your issue?

Ok here is the issue. I changed the distributor from points to electornic, I put a new battery, a rebuild carburator, and every time the car sits ove night it will not start it just cranks over but will not turn on, after a while the car finally turns on but when it sits for a long period of time without starting it will do the same thing will not start again and I have to keep trying until it starts. A guy said it was the ignition coil module that i need to change because it gives the starting spark from the key being turned on, thus causing the car not to start and that if i changed it, I would no longer have that problem. Also I put a brand new starter.

look down the carburetor throat when it is cold and the engine is off, if you open the throttle do you see gas squirt in with the choke being held open. The factory ignition never had that part, do you have a spark when cold, if so it is not ignition related. What exactly is your cold starting procedure? Are you stepping on the gas pedal all the way to the flor from two to three times and then removing your foot from the pedal and turning the key? When you installed the rebuilt carburetor, did you adjust the fast idle speed?
