...on what im gonna be dealing with? It needs new breaks and i want to put a body kit on it. It has a doulble cam 2.4l engine in it with 150k miles. Is this car gonna cost me a lot to work on or will it last to 250k miles?

the thing that has cost me with my 2001 sunfire (guppie) was that wonderful fuel pump! most part house will quote you bout $250.00 (washington) but if and/or when it goes out. Try an use an online parts house, got mine for bout $140.00

I know a guy that has a 97 cavalier, which we all know is the same thing as the sunfire, and he is pushin 250k miles on it with regular maintenance. Hopefully you have the same luck.

I also want to add that I've only had my Guppie for 5 monthes and I hav all ready put 20,000 miles on it!
