Hi all
trying to repair sons sunfire gt,need some links to past threads.
the brake servo is clicking the part which has what appears to be 4 brake lines coming out of it ?
the instrument cluster needles go dead for half a second enough for the temp, tacho and speed to drop to zero.
the parking brake, abs, theft system lights stay on all the time, indicators will only work for 2 clicks then stop.
he lost all headlights a few days back at night, not good with dear around
i am sure i read a while back a lot of these issues were due to wires between the headlights and under the battery box.
i just need to know which bunch of wiring loom wires tyo start to rip apart and where they are
thankyou

ok i have the washer bottle out and have found a single orange with white tracer wire just hanging ,it looks like it should go into the electrical connector socket located under battery box and just behind water bottle.
any thoughts?

Would need a wiring diagram to determine where it goes, do you have a Hanes or Chilton manual. Typically with the lights being on a scanner would be hooked up to determine the cause. What you are calling a servo is probably the ABS unit. There was a recall on certain years for the front wiring harness splices going over the radiator. You could check with a dealer if the recall was performed on this vehicle.

ok the wire i found was a repair to bypass the connector, have re-attached it, now high beams come on as normal and high beam light on cluster works.
is it worth replacing the indicator relay ? or is a short in a wire which is also causing the ets , low trac , parking brake and abs lights all to come on at same time and flicker in time with the abs unit clicking
