...firebird? Has anyone installed one of these and do you know if it's a one or two piece cable. It's 301 cubic inch engine with a 350 th automatic without cruise. Ant tips or info would be appreciated.

Without cruise, single cable. Now smartest thing to do, just replace the cable, not the whole housing/cable assy. Remove the housing from the transmission, pull out the old cable and reinstall, now if you CAN NOT get the cable to come out of the housing or it has come apart, you will need to pull the instrument cluster. There is a clip on the back of the speedo that you need to push forward or towards the instrument cluster and then the housing will pull out of the speedo. Then reverse for installation...
