Installing aftermarket back-up camera

Just wondering if any members have installed a back-up camera for use with a new radio/receiver system in a 2006 Torrent or similar vehicle....

1) Where is the easiest place to tap into the light green back-up light wire to get power for the camera and to connect to the reverse wire on the back of the receiver?

2) What is the easiest path for the camera wire from the tailgate door to the radio console at the dashboard?

Any hints on these 2 issues would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion - looks like there are a couple of videos on the subject. I have looked for Torrent installation but maybe there are more videos for the Equinox.
