Intake manifold torque specs

I am doing a intake manifold and I need the correct torque specs.
I have a 02 sunfire 2.2l sohc.
The hayns manual says 17 ft lbs 204 in lbs.
my local garage says 89 in lbs on the studs
and 53 in the stud nuts.

I am confused was wondering on which is right?

how or where did your mechanic come up with the numbers? The Haynes manual agrees with the website you posted earlier either 17 ft lbs or 204 in lbs depending upon whether your torque wrench is in ft. lbs. or in. lbs. Does your vin have a "S" or an "I" in it?

It has neither it is 1G2JB1 rest are numbers also its a 2001 sorry. I get the door dates confused somthimes but title says 2001. I hope this helps.

Also the intake manifold is plastic of some sort.

17 foot pounds/204 inch pounds is the number, the others are way too low. The 89 inch pounds is about 7.4 foot pounds.

Thanks very much glad I did change it. There is 2 points were there is black spots were it was leaking internal area. The coolent don't go though the this manifold dose it? thanks seeing your the administrater can you delete on of these posts? And again sorry for two.
