is it difficult to swap the motor out on a v6 firebird to a 305 maybe even 350?

the motor knocks pretty good, barely wants to get up and go at full acceleration. i bought the car at a salvage yard for 500 bux, the body and interior were in such good condition, i just couldnt say no. but i found some motors (305,350) and was wondering whats the best way to go about making this thing a cheap yet nice deal.?

If your not going with FI then should be motor mounts and maybe a trans change. If the car was an FI car then you'll have to put a fuel pressure reg on it. Not a whole lot needs to be done to it.
