• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... I have a YouTube channel that people often ask me questions. I recently received a question that I did NOT have an answer for. Someone asked if they can get the actual mileage from their '96 Firebird. The odometer has stopped working some time ago and they are wanting the information.

The reason they asked is, I found a way to do that for certain Volvo cars.

Thanks for your time and help. Robert

I guess it depends on the cause of the failure. If the problem is only the display someone with a GM Tech II or similar scanner should be able to read it out of memory, this is an assumption on my part but using google "odometer reading from ecm pontiac" seem to support that thought.
