I'm wondering if it would worth it to upgrade my fiero it being a 4 cylinder 5 speed and kinda stock other then that I don't know much about it. I was thinking about a turbo or something? What have you guys done to your cars?

Google Fiero and it will get you to sites that may help, I know from a fact that there is not much in the aftermarket for the 2.5 Pontiac anymore. These engines were never designed to be a performance engine anyways. Clifford Inline Performance had alot of the aftermarket stuff for these motors back in the the 80-90's and Crane had some stuff also.

Besides the later blocks, heads and rotating assemblies aren't as strong as the early ones. ( 79-83)

My race built 80 2.5 in my Monza lasted 10 years , reved up to 7200 rpm and never blew up. ( I beat the crap out of it) Finaly a wrist pin froze up afler it sat in the desert heat for 4 years and I started beating on it again .

144 Hp and 134 Tq from 90 Hp stock. (No power adders)

Well the guy put some aftermarket exhaust on it not sure which brand but it isn't a fart can so thats all I care about. I was thinking about wheels and paint and stuff then save for a GT or something.

What about a V6 swap from a Gt? Or what swap would be best to build up a bit.

Better to fix up your current car, sell it, and get a 88 GT. Then add mods to it.

They swap in anything from the Quad4s , Northstars, Supercharger 3800V6, to LS's and SBC's.

There was even a guy that swapped in a Caddy 500 !
