Is the Pontiac G8 a good car?

I want to lease this Pontiac G8 from leasetrader.com. Is the G8 a good car. I've test driven one before and its perhaps one of the nicest cars on the market, but is it durable? I need a stable car that will not give me any problems. IT has only 18,500 miles, so its relatively new, its a 2008 GT.

There aren't really any common problems that will strand you. Maybe one or two that will annoy you, like clunky lower control arms in the front. Some have it, some (like mine) don't.

Both Front Lower Control Arms On My 2008 G8 (w/11,000 Miles) Are Bad. The Dealer Is Unable To Locate The Bushings To Replace The Arms (ordered 4/30/10). What Caused The Arms To Wear Out So Quickly?

you are unclear as to whether the bushings have to be replaced or the whole control arm. In either case I had no problem locating them at www.gmdirectparts.com. You may want to try contacting GM directly to see if the dealer is being truthful
