• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... WOW! It's about time that we Pontiac enthusiast had a good forum!
I look forward to exchanging ideas, and stories with all of you.

My name is Dwayne. I am a PC tech for the US DoD (civilian), and live in Oklahoma. I own 2 vehicles: a 2005 Dodge Ram Daytona (my daily driver) and a 1977 Trans Am that is about 75% restored (modified).
I just had the entire drive train rebuilt and beefed up a little. It has a 1975 455, bored .060 over (469 CID) that produces about 600HP (not dyno'd yet).
The TH400 tranny was rebuilt by Bennie Gadsten, and beefed up to handle 800+HP with no problem. That guy does some incredible work.

I am modifying the interior to modernize it a little - adding 2002 T/A seats, or aftermarket seats, covering the ABS plastic interior trim pieces with vinyl, and removing the rear seat to install four 15" subs.

Anyway, good to see a nice forum for Pontiacs!

Take care, and see you around.

Hi Dwayne! Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up! I'm glad you feel the same way I do about Pontiac enthusiast sites!! Where the HECK are they?! Well, that's why I started this one.. I've been drooling over the GTO and as I get more and more involved with looking at Pontiacs, I just can't figure out why there's not more of a following online. Let's show the world that we feel the same way about Pontiac as everyone else feels about Lexus, Volkswagen, Honda - and all the rest of those companies with huge online communities...

Thanks Sal!

Here's a picture of my baby... :D
The side pipes have been Photoshop'd in, but they will be added next month.

Nice job with the Photoshop! And I must say - if I owned that car, I'd be afraid to drive it. I mean - you must be a little paranoid. Right? That thing looks precious!
