Just a few problems

I am new to these forums so hello everybody.

I inherited a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire, which over all, is a pretty good car, but there are a couple of problems with it.

1. ABS warning light is on.

2. The dome light does not come on when I open the driver side door. The dome light does come on when I open the passenger side door and it comes on when I open the 2 back doors.

3. The warning chime does not chime when the head lights are left on.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've been doing some googling and I think the answer to problem 2 and 3 is a bad door jam switch. Might try to replace it and see if that fixes the problem.

1. It could be a bad sensor but need to have the ABS system scanned to determine which one unless there is an obvious broken wire going to the sensor.
2. Does sound like a bad door switch, try cleaning the ground first at the switch.
