I have a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire with 2.2L Ecotech engine L61. It just would not start the other day. It will crank. But will not start no matter what.
Here is what I have tried so far.
1. Fuel at fuel rail (pulled pressure test cap, plenty of fuel than pump refills rail on key turning on, pump runs on key on).
2. Pulled plugs and I get mist of fuel on crank from each cylinder verifying injectors firing..
3. NO SPARK. with coil pack removed but still connected and and jumper wire from plug wire to ground.
4. Replaced (ICM) Ignition Control Module - No change
5. Replaced Coil Pack - No change
6. Replaced (CSS) Crank Shaft Sensor - No change
7. Verified conductivity between CSS (Crank Shaft Sensor) and BCM) Body Control Module
8. Verified conductivity between (ICM) Ignition Control Module andBCM) Body Control Module
9. Verified +- 5v ac from CSS (Crank Shaft Sensor) while cranking both sides of wire using test lead stuck in backside of connector.

So In summary. I replaced the CSS,ICM & Coil Pack and I don't know what to check next. I read in another forum that this engine DOES NOT have a Cam Shaft Sensor - hopefully I am not wrong. (The guy at auto parts place sold me one ?) not sure if it has one.
My next thing to do is have my (ECM) Engine Control Module sent off and have tested and repaired if necessary. I have heard buying a new one is a pain and it need to be programmed. (What a pain -most likely a dealer thing?)

Any advise in my diagnosis, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in
