I'm almost 15 and a half, so I don't have my permit yet. But my parents had to get it early because my mom's broke down, but it's mine, and at this moment her car is working, but it's definately mine.
It is a 1983 Pontiac Firebird. And even though it is my first car...
I absolutely adore it. It was my parent's friend's car and she named the car Marrie Jayne (not my idea, the car was named before I was).
It is that annoying beige white color, and has a brown interior. It doesn't look bad, but I want it to look better. I'm just not sure what to do. Someone said black, with a white racing stripe, and a white leather interior... Any ideas?

Oh, and the car is under 75,000 miles... it wasn't used very much. And I live in San Diego. In the area I live in, alot of sun, not alot of shade. That's why I was thinking white, because black leather burns when you sit down.

I think I would just take some time and get the car in tune and repair any issues it may have, before I would think about painting it or doing any major mods to it ..
at 16 yrs old you probably will have little to No cash once you pay insurence and fuel each month ..
start slow seat covers .. wheels tires ETC...
as you can afford it ..
paint jobs can cost Thousands of dollars to do correctly ..
good luck with your car !
