Its winter time and I cant drive by the neighbors with I dont care what you think kinda look. :eek: So I warm her up and hang out :rolleyes: This spring Ill have to drop the tank and replace the lines because there looking kinda crappy.
Springs just around the bend I hope.
 
My dad and I start our bird up once in a while but it takes a little bit for her to get the choke off. We have to keep giving gas to about 1500 rpm - 2000 rpm or so for a while or else it just shuts off. After a bit it will high idle, then after that she is good to go.
 
Yup me too. I start her up once a week, I rebuilt or replaced everything already and love to drive her. The new suspension Steering and brakes along with the solid body bushings, Bilstein shocks, welded in sub frame connectors along with the 300hp, 700r4 4 speed auto and 4:10 posi make my car very fun to drive. Since we have had snow and salt on the fround, the car sits in her garage . I have to strip and paint a 75 donor radiator support along with all the nose brackets. I want it all looking like the rest of the car underneath. This is my goal before spring. I will get it done.
 
Unless you get the vehicle up to full operating temperature you are doing more damage than good. It's better to buy a battery tender and leave the vehicle off till the winter is over.

Yes, I am aware of that too. Last week was the first week that I could not take her for a short cruise due to snow and salt. It rained here yesterday and washed the salt off the road. Since it is nice and sunny in CT today, I will probably take her out. I am worried about flat spots on tires too and our winters have been weak for the past 2 years. If she sits for more than a month, then she will go up on jack stands.
 
For flats spots I up the tire pressure to 40 pounds and check it once per month. I'm in CT also.
 
battery is dead in the house... :eek: I should of taken out 30 days ago.
Oh well its only nuts and bolts as my father would say. :D

Its been a rough 5 weeks of cold over here :( But we will be barking 2nd gear in a few weeks :D around town when Im stuck at the light.
I hate Hondas and anything that looks like a beer can next too me.
