I have owned my 1994 Sunbird for 22 years and SOMEHOW lost the key to the locking lugnuts, each wheel has one locking lugnut on them, they are 15"powder coated rims, I am clueless on how to order the key and the dealership wants $120 to break the locks off.I'd rather have the key...😎---any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Assuming it's the type of locking lugnut that has a pattern in the head of the nut they are made by McGuard and you need the key code to order another key. You can see what they look like in the link below. Try shopping around at private shops to see what they charge, you dont need a dealer for this. You can also try clamping a vise grip on the nut and hitting it with a hammer depending on how tight the nuts are. Too late now but I always order a second key when dealing with locking lug nuts.

Can you post a pic? Mcguard is the only one I remember in that era........

Check You-Tube, most people pound on a 12 point socket and do it themself..........or have a tire store do it.

or weld a nut to the end of the lock

Thanks to all!!! I think I found the right key at Brandsport.com, its a 7 spline 3/4" locking nut, I ordered TWO!!, hopefully they'll work, if not, I'll try the other suggestions. THANKS FOR THE QUICK REPLIES! !
