I have a 1999 Montana that has a coolant leak. The van leaked a little over the summer but never enough where I could see it under the van. I took it to a mechanic where he looked throughout the cooling system but could not find a problem. Now that it has cooled off outside it is leaking alot more. I noticed tonight drips coming out from under the van. Has anyone experienced this with this type of van or other GM vehicle with the 3.4 V6? I know that the motor is notorious for the bad Intake Manifold Gaskets. However when I check the oil it is clean and clear. I just changed it last week and looked as it should so I don't see where that is the problem. No smoke fro the tailpipe. When I fill the overflow tank up and check it the next day the coolant is always dirty looking but not cloudy. I'm scared to have it pressure tested because I've heard that it can cause more problems than it's worth on an old car. Would I be better off just topping off the coolant every couple of days. It never comes close to overheating?
Thanks
