Led lights for license plate (pics)

Hello I thought I would share my quick 5 min mod, I replaced my license plate lamps with leds. They are brighter and polarity sensitive and very easy to do and does give it a cool looking color whiter as you can see in the pics (if I attach them correctly) I have to warn you these are not DOT approved .

This first picture is the stock oem lights
The second picture is one of each (left is led right is stock)

i want to do this to mine, but i want to do green. where did you get the bulbs from?

Ebay ,however I did some research from other forums to find something that was going to last , as you well know there is thousands of leds to choose from on ebay . I can't remember who I bought from but the brand on the package is v cool and the model is smd wb it appears that it has 4 leds on the face also on the package has its other colors they sell and green is a color they have . I always wanted to convert the inside lights to led and also add a led light strip across the ceiling in the back hatch , Good luck with your mods and take some pics give us some inspiration .

Nice. I need to do this too. I also want to do all the interior lights.

I wanted to do the inside as well but never got around to it yet,it would be nice to have a p/n list and would also like to put a led strip in the back cargo area.

Are the plate lights 194's? Also does anyone know what bulbs are used on the interior lights?
