Hi,
I have a problem with my car. It is running idling too high around 2000 revs, after new fuel line, EGR and throttle body fitted.
Originally the ECU went on this one aswell so I changed it. When I changed it same thing happened it was running too high. I changed CTS and TPS with no result.

Any ideas ????

My car is Pontiac LeMans 1.6L 1988 with mono-point injection and 3-speed automatic transmission.

have you tried replacing the idle air control valve?
have you checked for a vacuum leak?

have you checked for a vacuum leak?

And again, I've looked at that, and it turns out that the problem is with the idle air control valve.

I checked resistance IAC coils: terminals A, B has about 50 ohms, terminals C, D has about 50 ohms.

1. When I turn ignition to the 'ON' position, IAC goes backwards. When I turn ignition to the 'OFF' position, IAC returns to the original position.
2. Again when I turn ignition to the 'ON' position, IAC does not react.

When I disconnect and reconnect the battery, the IAC only works once.

Any ideas?

the second time you turn on the ignition what is the voltage at the IAC?
