The trip meter/mileage read-out went out. Now does hav a seperate fuse or should I just figure how 2 get into the dash an try an find the bulb. Its a 2001 sunfire. Anyone hav/had this problem?

a) theres no fuse to fix this
b) the bulbs are all soldered to an electical circuit, seeing as how yours is digital

Best option is to get another cluster and swap it in. Should only take you about 30 mins total to do the whole job if you have BASIC knowledge of your car. Ive taken dashpads out enough, I could do it in 10-15 lol

Now I did come across that the mileage still counts my miles, but hav to use a flash light to see the number thingies. so ia it still a cluster of thingies that need to be replaced?
