Looking at a 64' Cat tomorrow

Any advice for me? Going to look at this car tomorrow. What should I look for? Special areas of leakage? Suspicious noises? I know it shifts "sloppy" is what the seller told me. Otherwise he said its a daily driver and good to go. Has a Montgomery Ward A/C unit and the Ventura option. Asking $2,000

you are looking at a very old car so the things to look for are endless. Does it have the original engine and transmission? Does the transmission fluid smell burnt? Ventura trim raises the price 5% if it can be proved it was factory installed. Are there any supporting documents? look at this link for prices

No docs. Original engine and trans. He's not had it long and he said there's 2 leaks (he's not sure what's leaking). I think I'll run the other way. I'm also looking at a 71 Malibu, 350 2brl. Better condition than Cat.
