looking at a 84

i have a lead on a 84 fiero. for $150. guy says it is a 2m4. with a 5spd and a v6. complete but need wiring work to run. but hey for 150 why not. i am not looking for a fast car. just a light nimble corner carver. are they good for that?

also this will be a general thread about mods and ideas aswell as general fiero bs. insteed of making several threads i want to just keep it as one
 
my first question is i want a new intake set up. like the periscope ones on some of the pace car additions. any one make a copy?
 
nevermind i found the ones i wanted. i also found out i do not want the indy style.
 
i am looking to do an engine swap though to the camaro/firebird 3.4. i read that the 93-95 s code motor will work best. but the write up said it worked in the 85+ cars. what about 84?

also is ther a place to get a complete new wiring kit for the whole car?
 
how ever i am wanting to do a carb conversion what is a good intake and carb set up. not to worried about mpg as long as i keep it above 15. i am also going to adapt a set of the fi-air-o scoops as the intakes. i just dont know what intake and what cfm carb to use
 
yep i am looking at getting there full stainless exhaust system
