I have been doing research for a little while now and have been hearing good things about the 5.3. I would like to take out the lt1 I have and replace it with a low mile junkyard 5.3 from a truck or suv. I know some parts would have to be changed out to fit my car, I have a 95 firebird.
I am hoping that someone on here has also done this and can tell me what year is best for the 5.3, and any other helpful info. I have a good budget and would like to eventually add a turbo.
