I just joined this forum because I'm trying to track down my fathers old 71-72 LeMans Endura Sport. My father worked at the local Fisher Body GM plant in Kalamazoo, MI and drove this car until he passed away in the late 80s.
Now I'm older and I have a home and a family of my own and I'd like to see if I can find this old car and possibly buy it back.
It was a 71-72 Endura. It started life silver with a black interior and It had a stock 350. My father blew that engine when I was very young and replaced it with a sb400. Though I was about 4, I remeber it vividly. The car was sold to a young guy when I was 10 years old. He repainted it red/burg and installed a GTO style spoiler. When I was 17 I spotted it in the Comstock area for sale. The spoiler was gone but the holes for it were still there. I know it was the car because when I was 3 I tore a strip of the viynal all the way down to the carpet.
I know this is a shot in the dark. This is the first place I've started my search.
