The title says it all in a condensed fashion but here's the story

When i was a wee lad my dad had a grand am, he tuned it, modded it, threw a nitrous tank in the back and it was the coolest shit in my eyes back then. The vehicle was originally an Ohio vehicle, i believe he was the second owner and had it registered in Lake county back somewhere around 2000-2004, i'm pretty sure it got registered to Ashtabula county when we moved there in like 2006/2007. I don't know how relevant that information is but hey. Last I saw it was around 2007/2008 when my dad sold it to my cousin (brittney b.) and her husband (austin b.) who lived on the other side of the state. Her husband was in the navy and got stationed up in washington state near seattle, and when they left to come back to ohio they sold it to someone for a few hundred dollars from what i heard.

The condition of the car probably isn't good, i've been told my cousin did some body damage to it and the engine may be blown. Here are some pics of it back in it's hayday, i know it's super unlikely anyone is going to be able to provide any info about it but if you see it please help a guy out. I'd really like to get it back.

i've tried running plate searches but can't find anything due to privacy laws, and we don't have any paperwork with the vin on it as far as we know. Not having the vin puts me in a position where it's unlikely to find it but luckily due to the extensive modding it's a one of a kind car so there's that at least.

It's nothing amazing but it means a lot to me, i'd like to get it back if possible. any info is appreciated

Hire a private investigator, without the Vin , all you have to go on is plate #s..they can check Washington State/ Ohio state plate numbers to see who owned it last....and get the Vin.

Doug in P.R.😎

There are a couple of Navy bases in NW Washington state. The Naval shipyard is in Bremerton and there is a big air station near Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island. Maybe you can pinpoint your search if you know where he was stationed. Good luck!👍
