Losing Water

i have a 1999 Sunfire and replaced the head gasket a year ago, now its losing coolent and starts to run hot. its not in the oil yet,but afraid it will later, how do i know if its doing the same thing again

Pressure test the cooling system and check the cooling system for the presence of exhaust gas.
