Manually Lower a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am Gt Driver's Seat?

As you can see i have the car above. The seat is supposed to electronically move up and down. The previous owner must have broke that. I am taller than that person and now the seat is stuck to high. Is there anyway i can manually lover the seat down? Please help i would like to not hit my head anymore.
 
You would have to determine if its just the switch or the motor and replace the defective part.
