I am so looking forward to receiving information on my 2001 Aztek that I am having an issue with the Pass KeyIII codes. I have just started to get a Security code come up and the a service engine code. From the manual it's saying that it is an issue with the key and that it has to go in to be serviced Re: new keys and then they have to be programmed. Is there any other way to bypass going to the dealer. This car was purchased in the U S and now has a new home in Canada. Any info regarding this matter will be so appreciated. Love, love my Aztek.

the issues can both be taken care of by any qualified shop assuming you are not trying to fix the issue yourself. The security code you can try relearning the key, the check engine code has to be scanned.
