misses at start up, run good when warm

2002 grand am gt.

my car misses when you start it up (sounds like it is loading up on gas), but runs ok after it is warmed up.
any ideas on what could be wrong? any help would be appreciated. had this problem all winter. thanks

Might have water in some of the connectors..but whens the last time you did a full tune-up?

is your check engine light on?

Fuel pressure regulator leaking? Pull the vacuum line off it and look for fuel. If it's wet, regulator is bad.

check engine is on and has been for a while. just did a tune up a few months ago, I thought that would clear the problem up but to no avail.

I need to check the fuel regulator yet.

you need to get your car scanned first above all to find out why your light is on.
