I just bought a 2006 Torrent for my son. It looks great and is in mint condition. However, there are a few items that are dated, and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions.
1) The antenna. The previous owner said to remove it prior to going through an auto car wash. Rather than the old school wire antenna, can I replace it with a shorter one? I've found a link that has a 6 3/4 antenna, but they said it's not good for AM (my son won't listen to AM anyway). Any OTHER ideas?
2) The middle armrest console. Ugh. This has to be the worst design ever. As nice as the vehicle is, they really skipped over this. Are there third party designs or newer Torrent designs that simply have a better look and feel for this? This has "spilled drink" written all over it.
3) Anything else? Any rim/tire suggestions? Running boards suggestions? Others?
