A friend of mine just bought a 71 Lemans, 350/2bl, 350th. The original window sticker was in the car and one of the options was a mountain performance package. Does anyone know what that consisted of?
It received a carburetor number 7041072 calibrated for high altitude. It had a 3.08 rear ratio as opposed to a 2.56 and required "Special Cooling", not sure if that meant a larger radiator. There may be other differences but that was what I found in a casual look through the 1971 factory Pontiac Service Manual.
