I have a 1994 Pontiac Grand Am that I am having some electrical issues with. The interior Lights do not work when you open the doors or manually turn them on at the insturment lummination switch. I have found the BCM ( multi function Alarm Module) and found it un plugged. When I plugged it in the alarm rapidatly dinged 5 or 6 times and then went to a steady ping every 5 seconds or so with the key in our out of the ignition. When I turned the car on the ding quit. The interior lights still did not work once I plugged it in. I have check all the fuses and they are good. I am just looking for some help on what the cause could be with both of the issues I am having with the electrical.

Thanks for your help on this.
Paul :)

The 12v {positive} is solid{always 'on'} after the fuse and switch.
So check grounds, and look for bad wiring.
