good as well as the alternator? I have checked the alternator, and the battery, yet it still won't start unless you jump it. Could it possibly be the starter, as when you turn it over the battery weakens.

what are you using to jump it another battery or a battery charger set for high amperage? If it starts when you jump it there is nothing wrong with the starter. Are you sure you dont have a bad ground cable on the battery?
