my 2002 pontiac grand prix 3800 v-6 is cranking over longer lately before it starts up.

what's wrong? the car turns over strong, but it takes longer than normal for the engine to actually start running. it also seems like i have to push on the accelerator a little to keep it running. normally i would hit the key and bam the engine was running. what could be acting up now?
 
Get your fuel system flushed. Small particals of carbon build up on the injectors and in the rest of the fuel system. It well fix that and you well notice a difference in how the car runs immediately. GOOD for you and your car.
