my 93 pontiac grand am transmission won't down shift sometimes once it is warm and I am

slowing down.? the transsmisson makes the car cut off I just changed he throttle position sensor.

if it happens hot it may be due to the tcc solenoid sticking and killing the motor does it feel like a jerking felling when trying to stop if so that is your best bet
