I have a 1995 Pontiac Trans AM with 13000 miles on it. I just recently bought it. It had been sitting for over a year, It does start and run, though not like a LT 1 should. Some times it won't start sometimes it does then it will quite on me after i drive it for awhile. I have replaced battery, mass air flow sensor, spark plugs, throttle position sensor, fuel cap, PCV valve, fuel filter, and taken out a restricitve muffler that was in place of the cat's. I have checked the altanator which is working proberly. I have tried numerous code reader's, It is a 16 pin which doesn't work with 95 and prior and 96 through present doesn't have on program Any ideas?

Holy cow!!! Quit replacing parts!!!
Take it to a reputable shop and pay $100 for an engine system diagnostic. NOT JUST A COMPUTER SCAN.

Yes... Have a shop check the ECM for codes and go from there... No sense wasting so much money on parts just guessing and hoping...
These newer cars are almost totally computer controlled...
Mid 90's included !! Especially an LT1...
