The 5th answer is the best answer. It's not an old rebadged Grand Prix as another person suggested. It's an entirely different car from Australia. It's not new. It's only new to us. The G8 GT is the preferred package. However, with todays gas prices, a V6 is avalible. It's easier all around on insurance & decent mpg's. But the V8 is far more common. I test drove one right after they became avalible and the dealer was asking $4K over msrp. When supply catches up to demand, dealers will begin to negotiate a better bargain for ya. Tell your main man to have some patience & wait another 6 months. Then the deals will get better. G'day!
