My Key doesn't turn in my ignition, the ignition is stuck, 2001 Pontiac

grand am. Why? Hello First my Starter didn't work so i had to key turning the key so that it can work, i did that for about 30 minutes and then i got pissed off so when the key was at ON is yanked it as hard as i can and the key came out. I took the key out and when i put it back in the ignition doesnt turn. Now my car is now in a parking lot and i need help to do something, Any ideas please help me. THANK YOU =)

Stuck Key Switch

I Payed A Locksmith $40.00 To Fix Mine
He Sprayed Lub In It And Hit It With A Small Deadblow Hammer About 20 Times, A Few With Out The Key Then A Few Times With The Key In The Switch Htting the key stright on. You Will Need To Take The Platice Cover Off The Switch. He Told Me That This Works About 95 Percent Of The Time.
If You Have To Put A New Key Switch In You Will Need To Have Reprogramed.
