hello to all i have just purchased a 86 fiero at a dirt cheep price so i was kind of nervous that it may have problems so i just wanted to post here and see what you all think. the motor in light i was told was out and the gauge for the gas is never still it goes back in forth like it doesnt know how much gas is in it, thats a about it and it has 48,xxx original miles on it and only cost $800.00 is that a good deal for it. i have been manually lifting and lowering the lights, what could i do to fix is there like a kit i could purchase thank you.

www.fierostore.com has headlight rebuild kits and a new gas gauge sender.
The gas gauge sender is expensive, But many have just lowered the tank and removed the sending unit and cleaned the float arm and the coil it rubs on and repaired them.

Rodney Dickman also sells headlight rebuild kits and metal gears instead of the original nylon.
