Need A Good Valve Cover

The Valve cover on my '67 lemans OHC 6 is in pretty good shape but my mechaic is concerned with the deterioration of the outer wall of water port.. He tells me the machinest can build it up. It still has about a 1/8" thickness. American Muscle advertised one but they seem to be temporarily shut down. I found one on eBay with a "No Return" policy...not interested.
Does anyone have a source or should I leave it as is, or build it up?

Pictures please. Close up of waterport. Wall on mine very thin (Corroded). Can it be build back up?

Good clean used cam cover, I don't know why it was painted green in the past

Here is a pic showing the coolant passage from the head, it is also in good shape.
