My wife has a 2004 Grand Am, i think its the SE package, not sure what motor, maybe the 3.4???
Anyway we just got married, so i inherited the responsibility of doing all the maintenance on it now, need to do an oil change...
whats the best way to tackle this?
i do all my own work on my Ford Ranger, but its lifted and easy to get up under neath the truck to do work, this car is so so low to the ground?
Do i just put it on ramps??? Wheres the oil filter located? Is it hard to get to? what about the oil drain plug?
Any help to get me started on the maintenance of this car would be great?
Also what problems does this car have or should i look out for?
Timing chains, belts, gasket issues, coolant issues, electrical issues? i just dont know what to expect from it...
i have my ford ranger and i have worked on it from bumper to bumper, i know what issues to look out for... but this GM Grand Am is all new to me...
Thanks for the help guys!
