I was on here almost a year ago while I was basically restoring my 99 Montana to a new vehicle. I put an all new suspension, brakes, plugs, water pump, Fuel Pump, etc. etc. you name it I did it. Well, I'll be damned if my temp didnt start fluctuating quickly this past week and my overflow tank was full and bubbling. So I thought the thermo wasn't opening. Anyways, long story short I continued to experience these drastic temp swings and took it to a shop. So I got a call yesterday saying my rear gasket was leaking and I had A CRACKED BLOCK...YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! I'm so glad all my work to get my family vehicle up to specs has resulted in this! So anyways, obviously I'm screwed so I'm going over my options and I'm thinking a 3.4 out of a wrecked vehicle or something. But I need some info before making a move...first, would it be a waste of time to buy another 3.4 that hasn't had the gaskets beefed up? Also, can I fit a 3.8 into this small space and expect it to mate to the existing tranny? Also, is there any long shot of a liquid block repair working? If so, what?? obviously, I'm kinda grasping at different options but I need some info from someone that has dealt with this situation...or should i sell this money pit for what I can get and start over with another vehicle??? Thanks
....~Mike
