need to replace v belt on 1970 pontiac firebird 350?

I replaced my alt belt with a new gator duralast belt, but it falls off while driving, and yes it's tight. The one on there now that fits great but is cracked bad is a Top Performance PRO-1 7500 belt. It doesn't look as if it is a gatorback belt, or maybe the knobs wore off by now? where can i get this exact belt so i know it shoulf fit>?

Take the old belt to the auto part store so they can measure it. It sounds like you have the wrong length belt.
