Received my AEM filter the other day and popped it in. Nothing too exciting but thought I'd share anyways.

thanks for the update. Are you keeping track of mpg or anything to see if the filter makes a difference?

I intend to. Once I store the Eclipse and Bonneville away for the winter at the end of the month I'll keep a sharper eye on the Torrent. So far I can tell you the idle sounds exactly the same lol

I can now say without a shadow of a doubt that the car neither pulls harder nor sounds meaner with the filter. However, it is good for the life of the vehicle, so there's that.

Yeah lol. It makes no difference with such filter. It will make a difference if its tuned by other parts to...at least Thats my experience. Og you wanted the sound you had to go for the open filter, BUT then its almost to Much. Hope you understand my english ( Danish)

I understand perfectly. My summer car is a fully bolted and tuned Eclipse putting down 280whp, so I understand a fair degree on how flow mechanics work. Unfortunately, the '06 Torrent ECU cannot be tuned and there are literally no other power adder bolt ons available for this platform, so the filter was my sole option.

I'm not mad though. That's just how the cookie crumbled
