what's up everyone, the name is Josh. im 24, from columbus ga, and in the air force. i just bought my first pontiac, an 88' fiero gt and dont even get to see it for over a month because im deployed... i found the add on ebay and was able to get the seller to sell it outside that auction with a deposit. its a red 88' gt, five speed, 2.8L, original leather seats, and has less than 84,000 miles on it. it was delivered by DAS from WV to my house in LA and took about two weeks. it arrived two days ago and my wife sent me some pics of it so i could see it there and ease my mind. my neighbor and his wife, both retired, took a look at it and both said it looks like its in perfect condition. the only thing i know of that needs to be done is the temp gauge wiring issue and its missing the seat mechanism covers.....thats it as of now. im planning on keeping it origional other than maybe a set of wheels and an exhaust if i can get the original off without cutting it up. ill also change all the fluids, replace plugs, wires, cap and rotor, pcv, air filter, fuel filter...all the things that are needed replacing after 23 years. any input on things i may want to check or should look for would be greatly appreciated. i am super excited to get home and check it out and to be a member of this forum. so hello again and i look forward to having some discussions with you all. take care
