Sorry for the long post but want some ideas of where to start looking or generally what would need replace.
I recently bought an 03 Grand am GT1 3400 SFI 3.4L V6. I noticed a small misfire before I bought it which the guy told me was on Cylinder 3 due to the Timing Cover leaking, which made no sense since they are on opposite sides of the engine. Noticed that one of the of the coolant hoses from the surge tank are missing (the bleeder hose) and there was a screw plugging the whole in the radiator. Only had one coolant leak and since i found that out not had another. But the surge tank is always at the level it's supposed to be. Also the previous owner decided he was an electrician and rewired/hard hacked the factory wiring harness behind the stereo and cluster. Cut the stereo harness, random wires not connected to anything, all that fun stuff (I'll attach a picture of it).
The car pulls hard to to the left and sometimes to the right, when I jimmy the steering wheel back and forth there's a clunking noise but when I'm turning left there's a pop. I know the tie rods are soon to be due for replacement, lower control arms and ball joints have already been replaced. But I had the car up in the air and I can move the CV Axles up and down, passenger side is worse than the driver side, but can make the axles clunk. Hub side of the axles have no play but the transmission side is where I'm getting the movement from, is that at all normal?
