New guy with ceck engine code

Hey guys how goes it? Im new here and have a Q Ive got an '03 sunfire with the 2.2 ecotec engine and I have to go through emissions test up here in the Great White North and Im getting a check engine code, its p0442 I cant get a straight answer from the doyuche nozzles Ive phoned (I know, its just business) but is there anyone that can help me narrow it down?

it's related to the evaporative control system, easiest and cheapest thing to do is replace your gas cap and see if it clears up

If thats not it check the hoses for the evaporative system for a crack or other leak.
