Good morning! Just wanted to introduce myself, My name is Chris, I live in Georgia, and I'm new to the forums. I just bought a 1972 Luxury Le Mans, 350 Engine and a 400 Trans, so I'm sure I'll be having some questions, but just wanted to say hi!

Great to meet you all!

welcome, see a number of custom touches, wheels, painted bumpers, racing stripe, very nice car

Yeah, it isn't stock, but it is a nice daily driver at the moment. I haven't decided if I want to restore it to a LeMans or convert it to a GTO. Probably closer to the latter. I'm not a fan of yellow, so this is not the final color at all.

I like the yellow. if it was my car the paint would have to be really bad before I repainted it.
The Le Mans is a great looking car, I would also just enjoy it as a Le Mans and spend my money on making it handle better, Stop better, and go faster. ETC

Any money spent on making it a tribute car you will never get back. Keeping it true to its roots you wont waste any money turning it into something it isn't.

My Point is, I would be proud to drive your Le Mans the way it is. yet if I was in the Market for a Le Mans I would skip past yours if it was a GTO clone for sale.

Good Luck either way.
