Howdy,

I recently was given a 1972 LeMans Sport convertible and i'm in love with it. Its all original and has less than 30,000 miles. I was wondering if anyone had info on the model. Im looking to do a minor restoration and would like to keep it original if any one has tips! thanks!

It has some small rust spots in the paint, so its going to get a fresh coat, is there anywhere i can find the original colors? and what are the "rules" on keeping a classic original?

The color code is on the metal plate in the engine compartment, on the firewall, drivers side. Any competent auto paint supplier can mix it for you. Not sure what you mean by "rules", are you intending to enter this car in a formalized judging competition?

you can paint the car any color you want, maybe I'm missing the point of your question?
