• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... New to muscle cars and classic cars so I don't know a whole lot. But my wife finally relented to find either a hunting rig or a classic. I got turned down on an offer for a nice hunting rig, fortunately, because in Libby that night was the Ignite the Nights cruise. I knew then which way I wanted to go and I found a 1973 firebird. The body is great with about a 90% paint and the car runs great. It needs almost a whole new interior.
Because I am so out of my element on this I transition between euphoria and panic every time I think about it. The guy I bought it from had some other firebirds and he gave me a catalog from Classic Industries so I hope that is a good place to order from. I can't find any other place that lists all the little parts and the nuts and bolts that I may need. If there are better ways to go I would love to hear from you.
My plan is to find a bunch of money and make a large bundle purchase from Classic Industries. But then the work starts and I don't even know how to put a door handle on. It's gonna be a learnin' experience. I guess I am all in now and ready for the challenge.
I am always open to great advice.

welcome to the forum. I'm glad to hear you made the correct choice. Another great source for parts is www.amesperf.com . Good luck with your project.
